VISUALIZE YOUR APPROACH AND LANDING IN 3D
The 3D feature covers over 20,000 airports, providing users with a realistic approach view and airport surroundings preview. With 3D PLUS, pilots can adjust their flight conditions, offering a cockpit-like experience.
AVIATION WEATHER
Users can view METAR and flight conditions visually on the map. Detailed METAR information including wind, clouds, gusts, and visibility is available on each airport's page.
Sunrise and Sunset
Find sunrise, sunset, and civil twilight times on individual airport pages.
Winds Aloft
View winds at six different levels from surface winds to FL 150 on the map.
Weather PLUS
Utilizing data from METAR or forecast winds, the app suggests the best runway for landing considering crosswind components. The forecast includes GAFOR and weather parameters for the next five days in 3-hour intervals.
MAP
Search by name or ICAO to discover new airports. Get essential information like address, position, runways, and airport restaurants. Users can mark airports they've visited or wish to fly to, as well as save personal notes for each location.
AIRPORT RESTAURANTS
Find detailed information about airport restaurants including contact details, opening hours, and proximity to runways within the app.
DOCUMENTS
Easily add flight documents such as approach charts and airport diagrams for quick access.
TOOLS & AVIATION CALCULATOR
Use the aviation calculator for conversions and check QNH and QFE values conveniently.
RUNWAYMAP APP
The basic RunwayMap features are free with additional Weather PLUS and 3D PLUS available as in-app subscriptions. Users can select monthly or annual subscriptions with prices displayed in the app. Subscription renewal terms are outlined in the account settings section of the app.
